Gwangju Traditional Culture Center, located in Mt. Mudeung, is built for the transmission and preservation of intangible cultural assets as well as the inheritance and development of traditional culture. It has hands-on experience rooms, training rooms for holders of intangible cultural assets, and a performance hall.

Gwangju Ceramic Culture Center provides various handicraft activities such as pottery making, rubbing, a tea ceremony, and woodblock folk painting. The 250-pyeong Experience Center offers entertainment to visitors, especially families with kids. Up to 450 people can enjoy activities simultaneously.

Gwangju Hyanggyo, which boasts a 600-year history, is a place where visitors can learn traditional etiquette and experience various traditional activities such as a traditional wedding ceremony experience, tea ceremony, and etiquette lesson while wearing Hanbok clothing.
A lot of foreign tourists find this place impressive and memorable.

 

Namdo Folk Food Museum is composed of an exhibition area that exhibits and introduces various Korean foods from around the country and an Experience Space where visitors can experience folk food cooking classes.

Located in the heart of Gwangju, Mugaksa is an urban temple. It runs good programs such as the Buddhist College, Templestay, and Templelife. The temple's book café, Lotus Gallery, and traditional tea café, Sarangchae, have broken down the wall of religion and become a place of relaxation for city dwellers.
